So to answer your "native" 4k question:yes, Blade Runner was shot at MUCH higher resolution than 8k. The 4k disc version has less detail visible than it did in the theaters in the 80s (but more than VHS, Laserdisc, DVD, and BluRay versions) 6. Timzor.
